AS Roma have made a move for released Stuttgart veteran Mauro Camoranesi.

The former Juventus midfielder had his contract terminated with Stuttgart by mutual consent yesterday.

Camoranesi has been linked with a move to Spain at Hercules.

But Turin sources say a return to Italy could be on with Roma also keen.
