Roma coach Luciano Spalletti says defender Philippe Mexes can be the best in the world, if he learns to control his temper.
"Everyone has to always respect their position and requirements," noted Spalletti.
"A team that has quality must have balance at all times. Mexes lets himself get carried away by his exuberance and that ends up putting the squad in a difficult situation.
"If he is able to control this natural enthusiasm of his with more maturity, then he can become a huge bonus for the team.
"Sometimes he does things that were simply not asked of him. If he respects his role, then he could be the best in the world."
