Roma defender Rick Karsdorp has left Italy to return home to Holland.

Sky Italia reports Karsdorp has failed to attend training when expected.

He had already left the city ahead of the final game of 2022 and flew back to the Netherlands with his family.

Karsdorp was told by Roma coach Jose Mourinho to find himself a new club after their draw with Sassuolo.

Roma are set to leave for Japan for a winter training camp.
