Roma coach Luciano Spalletti refused to be downhearted after their 1-1 draw with Cagliari.
Cagliari took the lead just two minutes and four seconds into the game thanks to a Matteo Ferrari own goal, but Francesco Totti's free kick rescued a 1-1 draw.
"The lads played a good game and deserved more, so it is a little disappointing not to take home three points," said Spalletti. "The match got off to a very bad start, as we conceded immediately and everything changed from that moment on.
"At this stage we have to be content with what we achieved, it's a result that must be accepted and we did everything we could."
On Inter, Spalletti added: "It doesn't matter what they do, we are the ones who need to pick up points."
