Roma coach Luciano Spalletti is edging closer to a move to AC Milan. Corriere dello Sport says Spalletti is the man Milan wants to succeed Carlo Ancelotti, should they lose their coach to Chelsea in the summer.
Spalletti has already discussed transfer plans with Milan intermediaries, which will include going for Arsenal striker Emmanuel Adebayor.
Udinese pair Felipe and Antonio di Natale are also on Milan's shopping list.
Spalletti will introduce a 4-2-3-1 system to the Rossoneri and is prepared to work with Ronaldinho, on the express request of Milan president Silvio Berlusconi.
Spalletti's AC Milan:
Abbiati - Zambrotta, Thiago Silva, Kaladze (Felipe), Jankulovski - Pirlo (Flamini), Gattuso - Pato, Kakà, Di Natale - Adebayor
Meanwhile, a delegation of Roma fans met with Spalletti at the Trigoria training ground yesterday.
"I will not leave," Spalletti told the supporters. "I still have two more years on my contract and I intend to respect them."
