Claudio Ranieri wants a reunion with Chelsea midfielder Danny Drinkwater.

Just named Roma coach, Ranieri has discussed his former Leicester City ace with club directors.

And knowing Drinkwater is seeking a move from Chelsea this summer, the Italian has urged Roma to make an approach.

Ranieri is contracted with Roma to June, though will see the deal extended if they secure Champions League qualification.

And the chance to again work with his old Foxes boss would be tempting for Drinkwater.
