Roma coach Claudio Ranieri says Ghana midfielder Ahmed Barusso remains in his plans.

Barusso is currently playing on-loan at Brescia and has struggled to make an impact at Roma since his arrival last year.

But Ranieri told BBC Sport: "Barusso is a player that I like.

"This is a very physically strong midfielder, who has left before I arrived so I could not do anything to stop him. Like all the other boys out on loan, there is a good opportunity to come back to Roma."
