Roma coach Claudio Ranieri believes Serie A should abandon their winter break.
The former Chelsea manager, like Inter Milan's Jose Mourinho, believes Serie A should continue to be active - just like the Premiership.
Ranieri said: "Since I worked in the Premier League I thought taking away the Christmas-New Year holiday would be a good thing for Serie A.
"That said, I'm aware here in Italy we are under more stressful psycho-phyisical pressure. Anyway, the media should ask supporters if they would prefer attending matches during holidays with, for instance, a pause just after that."
