Former Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is contemplating bringing Scott McTominay to Roma this summer.

The Scottish international midfielder is not first choice at United under coach Erik ten Hag.

With Mourinho and Roma in the market for a player in his position, McTominay is emerging as an option.

Per Gianluca Di Marzio, the Italian capital club see McTominay as an alternative to Davide Frattesi.

With Inter Milan securing the 23-year-old Italian's signature, McTominay is next on Roma's agenda.

While the Italians would prefer a loan deal, United are only likely to accept a full sale.
