Roma coach Jose Mourinho is rethinking the future of Rick Karsdorp.

Mourinho was ready to bomb out the Dutchman after a bust-up before the World Cup break.

Karsdorp went AWOL from Roma's tour of Japan and later stayed away from training citing 'mental fatigue'.

However, after impressing in his training return and during their Portugal camp, Karsdorp is forcing a rethink from Mourinho.

La Gazzetta dello Sport says the fullback could yet be removed from the transfer list ahead of the January market.
