AS Roma coach Jose Mourinho has defended Tammy Abraham from the Olimpico boo-boys after victory over Sampdoria.
Roma won 3-0 on Sunday, though Abraham was again not on the scoresheet.
Mourinho said: "The boos are sometimes hard, I don't know if the boos were for him or for me, for the substitutions. Or maybe there was a percentage of fans who booed him and others booed me.
"Some may think that Tammy did not play well and others that I was stupid to change him because he could score. Psychological crisis? Even if we coaches say that the work of a striker is not only goals, for their self-esteem is important and he is not getting them. Maybe he suffers for this.
"We win together and we lose together, then (Andrea) Belotti came in fresh, without the danger of a second yellow card like Tammy. Il Gallo did his job, in an afternoon of difficulty with four suspended.
"We have seen what happened to Udinese with three or four suspended. It's tough and in this case we managed to get the three points."
