Roma coach Enrique wants winning consistency after Novara triumph

AS Roma coach Luis Enrique wants consistency from his players after last night's 2-0 win over Novara.

They were holding the Giallorossi to a goalless draw until Bojan Krkic came off the bench to score with a well-taken volley, then Pablo Daniel Osvaldo got a second.

"I don't think Bojan likes being a substitute, as I believe it is always better for a player to be out there for 90 minutes, but everyone must earn a starting spot," Enrique told Sky Sport Italia.

"It was more difficult in the first half because our opponents were pressing us more effectively. They got tired after the break and couldn't do it the same way.

"We do not keep possession for the sake of it, but rather we hold the ball in order to control the pitch and get to the goal.

"There is an unusual situation that we still really need to work on. When the result is favourable to us, we change the way we play, so were a different team after breaking the deadlock.

"At half-time I asked my team to play the same way from the first minute to the 90th. As soon as we get the ball back, the two strikers must go into the box to suggest the pass. Both Bojan and Pablo Osvaldo do well to get away from their markers."
