AS Roma sports director Walter Sabatini is optimistic over new contract talks with Daniele de Rossi. The midfielder's current deal expires in June and he is a January target for Manchester City.
However, Sabatini is convinced De Rossi will stay and pen a new deal - with their current offer being worth €4 million-a-year plus bonuses. Terms could eventually increase to €5.5 million.
