AS Roma have joined the battle for Chelsea striker Didier Drogba.
Sky Italia says Roma sports chief Walter Sabatini watched Drogba in action last week for Ivory Coast against Israel. Sabatini took in the game sitting alongside Drogba's agent.
Roma need to find a new centre-forward after selling Mirko Vucinic to Juventus.
Inter Milan and AC Milan have also been linked with Drogba in recent days.
