Roma captain Francesco Totti suffered a knee injury scare in the 2-0 defeat of Parma.

Totti limped off during the win over Parma at the Stadio Olimpico and visited the Villa Stuart clinic for tests.

"My injury is nothing serious and I think I'll be ready after the Christmas break," said Totti on his official website.

"It was important to close the year in fourth place and we achieved it. Now the table is on our side and we must start 2010 with the same belief."
