Danny De Silva will play his final A-League match for Perth Glory this weekend.

The 18-year old attacking midfielder will depart the Glory at the culmination of the current campaign to make his move to Italian club AS Roma.

De Silva signed with the Giallorossi in June 2014 but remained in Western Australia for the 2014/15 A-League season and now will appear for the last time in the purple of the Glory in the weekend's clash with Western Sydney Wanderers at Pirtek Stadium.

"It's going to be an emotional day for me, I've learnt a lot in my time here so yeah it's a bit sad but it's also exciting at the same time" he said.

"It's a massive game and my last game, so of course I want to make sure we end the season on a positive note, it's what you play for and that is to win."

De Silva added: "Look to seal off the season with a goal would be a dream but I would swap not scoring for three points any day."
