Australian national team boss Ange Postecoglou has warned Celtic's Tom Rogic that he will have to step up at club level if he wants a spot in his World Cup squad.
The 20-year old midfielder has been included in the Socceroos squad for next week's friendly with Costa Rica but new manager Postecoglou says he must improve on his tally of two Scottish Premier League appearances if he really wants to challenge for Brazil 2014.
"If his back half of the season is like his first half, then he's going to find it very hard to make the squad," the former Brisbane Roar and Melbourne Victory boss told the Daily Record.
"He needs to be playing club football to be part of the World Cup squad."
