Sunderland midfielder Jack Rodwell was pleased to mark his recall with the equaliser n their draw with Hull City.

Rodwell cancelled out Dame N'Doye's opener for the Tigers.

"The last few weeks I've had a couple of niggling injuries, nothing serious, but a calf, groin," he said.

"Back-to-back it gets frustrating because I want to play.

"But it's good to be back and to get the goal as well."
