Brendan Rodgers will meet with Liverpool chiefs this week to discuss their disappointing season.
The Reds dropped from second on the table to sixth last term, casting doubt over Rodgers' future at Anfield, and prompting a serious end-of-season review with Fenway Sports Group.
It is not believed that FSG want to sack Rodgers but simply want to put in place a plan for the summer transfer window as well as find a way to take the club forward after dropping right off the pace.
Owner John W. Henry, chairman Tom Werner and director Mike Gordon are all due in Liverpool on Tuesday according to a report on Sky Sports News HQ.
