Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers wants to bring Juventus veteran Andrea Pirlo to England this summer. The Mail on Sunday says Rodgers will make an all-out attempt to persuade Juventus maestro Pirlo to move to Liverpool in the summer.
Pirlo was imperious in Juve's 2-1 Champions League semi-final first-leg win over Real Madrid on Tuesday, but after the game the 35-year-old Italian international indicated he would leave the club in the summer.
His potential availability has immediately alerted several Premier League clubs, especially Liverpool given the departure of their midfield talisman Steve Gerrard to LA Galaxy at the end of the season.
