Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers admits they need to sort out their off contract players.
Worryingly, Jon Flanagan, Kolo Toure, Brad Jones and Glen Johnson are free agents in the summer, while skipper Steven Gerrard, who will join LA Galaxy in the summer, and Spanish youngster Suso, who has joined AC Milan, are departing after their contracts were allowed to run down.
"We can't have three or four leaving - it is about the needs of the team," Rodgers explained.
"The intention is to keep the senior players because of the mix of the group. For our young players to develop, they will need seniority around them. You can't just have a group of young players."
