Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers insists his players won't let their season peter out.
Rodgers defended his players after defeat to Hull City in midweek.
"I must stress that the players, like in the game the other night, are giving absolutely everything. It's not a team that's lacking commitment and attitude.
"You saw from the game the other night they're giving everything in the game, we probably just lacked that bit of belief and confidence in and around vital areas of the field, which in the past the team has shown itself to be very strong in.
"But that's something that's natural. But make no mistake about it - the players will give everything right to the very end. Our season doesn't finish until the final whistle at Stoke.
"I've always said that and I reiterate that. This is a team that will fight right to the very end and now the next game is very, very important for us."
