Manchester United legend Bryan Robson feels the current team have let down supporters this season.
United sit in seventh in the Barclays Premier League, are out of the FA Cup and are on the brink of exiting the Champions League after hitting a new low with a dismal performance away at Olympiacos last week.
"Some of the players I know how they can perform because I used to watch them train and watch all the matches. There is a lot of players this season who have performed under-par to what we know they are capable of," Robson told talkSPORT.
"In the league it is going to be very difficult to get back and achieve anything. But against Olympiacos at Old Trafford they have got a massive game to give the fans something to cheer about this season. They players owe that to the fans and the club."
