MK Dons boss Karl Robinson has implored his players not to get sucked in to Diego Costa's provocative behaviour this weekend.
The Chelsea striker was involved as Per Mertesacker was sent off in last weekend's Premier League clash with Arsenal, in what was yet another headline-grabbing performance from the Spaniard.
Ahead of Sunday's FA Cup fourth round clash at stadium:mk, Robinson feels his Dons players simply need to focus on their own game and not worry about Costa as they seek a pathway through to the next stage of the famous cup competition.
"You can't get involved in the antics. An awful lot of that goes on," Robinson said on Thursday.
"If he wants to get into confrontation the referee has to do his job and they have to be strong enough to do their job.
"I will tell my players, 'You don't react, you don't get involved in any of the antics. They're untoward. You play your game'.
"Taking that to one side he's as talented a forward as you're going to get. He's an exceptional talent. We know how good he can be."
