Robinho happy to help AC Milan extend Serie A lead

Robinho was delighted to get on the scoresheet in AC Milan's victory over Sampdoria. The Brazilian was on target this evening along with Antonio Cassano and Clarence Seedorf.

"I am happy, because the team played well and of course for my goal," said the former Manchester City striker.

"Now we must continue playing like this and focus on the next game at hand."

Inter have fallen eight points behind leaders Milan with tonight's 2-0 defeat at Parma, so their title ambitions are effectively over.

"I don't know if Inter are out of the race, but today we took an important step towards the Scudetto," added Robinho.
