Summer signing Roberto Firmino scored a hat-trick for Liverpool in a bounce match against Welsh club TNS at Melwood on Monday.
The Brazilian forward, who received just over 10 minutes in the season opener against Stoke City on Sunday, fired home on three occasions as the Reds comfortably won 5-1.
Fellow new arrival Danny Ings, who was an unused sub in the 1-0 win at the Britannia Stadium, converted a penalty while Lazar Markovic was also on target.
The likes of Adam Bogdan, Divock Origi, Emre Can and Lucas Leiva all started at the Merseyside club's training base.
