Robert Moreno to step aside for Luis Enrique as he skips Spain media conference

Robert Moreno won't appear at today's Spain media conference after it emerged he's set to step aside.

After guiding Spain to next year's Euros, Moreno is expected to step aside and be replaced by Luis Enrique for the tournament.

At noon on Tuesday a press conference will be held, but the coach won't speak and he has already decided not to appear before the press.

"We don't know anything," Atletico MAdrid midfielder Saul Niguez said after victory over Romania.

"I won't guess and comment. Robert's work is shown on the pitch and we're happy with it."

Villarreal striker Gerard Moreno added more, with him having been trusted by the boss.

"In the end we can't do anything," he explained.

"We train and do our best. We're with the coach, with all the staff.

"We'd die for him."
