Barcelona great Rivaldo has warned Liverpool striker Roberto Firmino about a move to the Nou Camp.

The Brazil international will leave Anfield at the end of the season and has been linked with Barca.

Rivaldo told Goal: "Following in the footsteps of other Brazilian players, I believe that Firmino would fulfill a dream by playing for Barcelona. However, I think he should first find out what his role in the team would be.

That is why I think he should weigh up his decision, not least because he is leaving Liverpool because he has lost his leading role at the club.

"Xavi always plays with a central striker - Robert Lewandowski - and Firmino's arrival could suggest a change in strategy, but will most likely mean he would be a bench player who would only play a few minutes.
