Riise insists understrength Roma can upset Juventus

John Arne Riise insists understrength Roma can still shock Juventus tonight.

"There will be many stars missing, but it will remain a wonderful match between two teams battling for their respective targets," said the Norwegian.

The Giallorossi are without Francesco Totti, Alberto Aquilani, Simone Perrotta, Cicinho, Juan, Marco Cassetti and Rodrigo Taddei due to injury.

On top of that there are four suspended players - Daniele De Rossi, David Pizarro, Souleymane Diamoutene and Marco Motta.

This has prompted Coach Luciano Spalletti to call up six youth team players - Riccardo Brosco, Alessandro Crescenzi, Marco D'Alessandro, Adrian Stojan, Alessandro Malomo and Sebastian Mladen.

"I'd like to point out that D'Alessandro, Brosco and Filipe are young, but have great technique. In Italy they prefer to field players out of position rather than launch youngsters.

"I do not agree with that approach. If they don't play, then they cannot gain experience. If you are talented, then you have what it takes at 18.
