A rift is brewing between Bayern Munich's Italian centre-forward Luca Toni and club legend Gerd Muller.

Asked previously if he was a fan of Muller, Toni has declared he preferred to play alongside Miroslav Klose. In reaction, Muller said: "Toni certainly has an instinct for goal and a wonderful shot.

"He is very impressive with a clean touch for the ball in every situation. However, he is not very mobile. When speed counts, he has no chance."
