New Fulham signing Sascha Riether says he's settling in quickly thanks to the club's German speakers.

Although Riether already speaks English very well, he is keen to improve and remains reluctant to rely too heavily on other German speakers within the squad such as Kerim Frei, Philippe Senderos and Mark Schwarzer.

"It's always easier when some players can speak the language," he admitted to fulhamfc.com. "But for me it is important that I use the English I learnt at school, which will be better soon so that I can speak more fluently with the players, the people [at Fulham], and the fans."
