Declan Rice admits Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta convinced him to snub a move to Manchester City.

Before leaving West Ham over the summer, Rice held talks with the Gunners and City, but ultimately chose the former.

He explained on Channel 4: "The manager. Mikel.

"From the moment I met him I knew he was the one I wanted to take care of the next part of my career.

"The way he spoke, his aura, the way he sees the game."
