Rice happy for West Ham fans after ECL triumph: My future...?

Declan Rice was delighted for the fans after West Ham's Europa Conference League final win against Fiorentina.

The Hammers won 2-1 with Jarrod Bowen scoring the decisive goal in the final minute.

Rice said: "Tonight, the lads have been so on it. We had a real belief. I'm not just happy for us the manager, the fans, but everyone that does their all to help us perform. I'm not just happy for me, I'm happy for them. I'm so, so happy."

On Bowen's winner, he said: "When he ran through on goal I said it out loud to myself 'this is your time'. As soon as you see it hit the back of the net you don't know what to do. I'm still in shock now. It's incredible.

"We got here two hours before and it was full. The fans, look at them. This is what it means to us and to me. I love this club, they've made me one of their own. I cannot describe what I feel when I talk about West Ham fans. I'm just so, so happy."

On his future, Rice said: "At the moment there's a lot of speculation going on about my future. There is interest from other clubs but ultimately I still have two years left at West Ham. I love this club, I love playing for this club. There hasn't been nothing yet.

"My focus is playing for West Ham at the moment. I'm captain of this club and I can't speak highly enough of this place. Let's just see what happens. Let's wait and see. Who knows."
