Bayern Munich are set to welcome star playmaker Franck Ribery to a team that has won its past seven matches.

The France international is close to a return to action after missing the past three months with a knee injury and toe infection as Bayern prepare to take on Werder Bremen on the weekend.

His return has been welcomed by teammate Arjen Robben who said: "Ribery is a world-class player and I believe we will now become even more dangerous."
