PSG star Neymar's former agent has revealed he could've joined Chelsea ten years ago.

Wagner Ribeiro remains close to the Brazil captain's camp, though was the player's prime agent when he was still playing for Santos.

He recalled to Canal do Nicola: "I received an official proposal from Chelsea when I was in New York, the day Neymar made his debut for the Brazilian team in 2010.

"They made a proposal, we listened, but we decided nothing. We took the proposal to Neymar Snr and Neymar Jr.

"Then came proposals from Bayern Munich, from Juventus, who went to lunch there in Turin. I went to Madrid several times, because Florentino Pérez had the dream of signing Neymar. Last year I was with him, in May, and still told me that he has this dream of hiring Neymar."

Neymar would eventually be sold by Santos to Barcelona.
