Rhodes fully committed to Blackburn says Marshall

Blackburn Rovers star Jordan Rhodes never lets transfer speculation get in the way of his form according to teammate Ben Marshall.

The 24-year old Scottish striker was a prime target for Premier League club Hull City in the summer but opted to remain at Ewood Park where he has netted 56 goals in 104 outings since arriving from Huddersfield Town in August 2012.

Rhodes, who cost Blackburn £8million, was reportedly close to being snared by the Tigers in the recent transfer window but has put those rumours to the side by scoring four Championship goals this season which suggests to winger Marshall that he certainly still wants to be with the Lancashire outfit.

"Jordan's the kind of lad who doesn't let anything bother him, he just gets on with it," Marshall told the Lancashire Telegraph.

"He's just a down-to-earth lad. He didn't go anywhere so he's just got on with it and done his job.

"Of course it was a massive boost to keep him - we all didn't want him to go.

"He's here now so hopefully he can push on keep getting the goals."
