The tough-tackling defender would be happy to return to Iran if the right opportunity came along.
Asked whether any team has contacted him he told Mehr News: "I have yet to receive any offers. I have enough time to find a good team so it is not necessary to make a speedy decision." The 33 year-old has fallen out of the national team set-up but hasn't given up on a return to Team Melli.
"I would be proud of wearing Iran's jersey but the officials haven't invited me. I respect the coach's decision and will remain patient."
