Reynolds happy with decision to remain at Motherwell

Mark Reynolds will make his 100th appearance for Motherwell on Saturday and justified the club's decision to reject a £1m bid from Rangers in the summer. "Playing week-in, week-out is brilliant for my development," the 21 year old told the club's official website.

"You see a lot of guys aged 19, 20, 21 all playing periodically, sitting on the bench coming on here and there.

"I think I am right when I say that I was the only person to have played every minute of every game in the SPL last year too, so that is another thing that is pleasing for me.

"I just want to play football and I am getting that at Motherwell.

"I am learning my trade, playing regularly for a good side, so I am in no rush to go anywhere.

"Even this season, after 100 senior games, I learn something new just about every match.

"I will continue to do my best for the team until I am sold or told to get out.

"It is those sorts of things that help your development, make you more rounded as a player and as an individual, and I obviously want more.

"I can only try and keep playing as well as I can for Motherwell and if anything comes off in terms of the full (Scotland) squad then great."
