Xavi wants to REVERSE his resignation decision at Barcelona.

TV3 says Xavi wants to continue with Barça. The coach has been discussing his situation with those closest to him in recent days.

The decision will now pass into the hands of Barça president, Joan Laporta, who has publicly shown his unconditional support for the continuity of Xavi.

However, Laporta will have to be convinced privately after a year without titles and the confirmation that the Xavi's resignation has in the end had no effect on the numbers.

The coach made his announcement when they were ten points behind Madrid; and now it's eleven. Xavi has a deal to 2025.

Some members of the board have also privately expressed their reservations about Xavi's continuity. They consider that his cycle, at least this first one, is finished.

Furthermore, they believe that his credibility with the locker room will suffer after announcing his goodbye and doing so in an emotional talk to the squad. They worry how reversing his stand will change Xavi's relationship with the players.
