Real Madrid midfielder Sami Khedira has undergone a Juventus medical. The Germany international, off contract in June, had the medical tests performed in Spain, reports Calciomercato.com.

Khedira is expected to sign a preliminary agreement with Juve next week ahead of eventually joining in June as a Bosman transfer.

The midfielder's deal will run to 2019 and include major bonuses linked to Champions League success.

Alvaro Morata had a big influence on Khedira's decision, having been in regular contact with his former Real teammate in recent weeks.
