Real Madrid could have signed Santos star Neymar for an amazing 60,000, it has been revealed!
El Confidencial says Neymar spent time at Real during president Florentino Perez's previous reign, training at the club's HQ and holding talks about a move to Madrid.
In 2006, Neymar spent two weeks at Real and Santos were willing to sell for just 60,000.
But after Florentino's departure, the new regime believed Neymar was not worth the money and passed on the deal.
Real are again in talks with Neymar - who is now rated at over €30 million by Santos.
