Patrice Evra today is writing an open farewell letter to Manchester United fans.Sky Italia says Evra met with Juventus lawyers on Saturday night in Los Angeles and signed a deal with the Bianconeri.
Evra is expected to make the move to Turin for around 2m (£1.6m) with a two-year contract worth 3.5m (£2.8m) per season.
Before any announcement, Evra wants to write an open letter to Manchester United fans, explaining his reasons for this exit after eight years at Old Trafford.
Evra won't join up with Juve until the end of the month after playing for France in the World Cup.
The Frenchman, now 33, has been with United since 2006 and is a former captain.
