Atletico Madrid striker Alvaro Morata tipped their famous Champions League upset against Liverpool back in November.

Morata was asked if Liverpool would reach the final of Europe's premier club competition for the third year in a row, which caused the Spaniard to state his premonition.

"Liverpool may play against Atletico and may not reach the Champions League final," Morata told COPE in November.

"You never know.

"This is football; every team has their methods and we play our football."

The two teams ended up facing each other in the last 16 and Atletico advanced to the last eight after beating Liverpool 4-2 on aggregate.
