REVEALED: Man Utd launch €40M bid for Roma ace Nainggolan

Manchester United have launched a bid for AS Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan. Nainggolan remains co-owned by Cagliari and is also wanted by Manchester City.

Gazzetta dello Sport says United are offering €40m (£28.85m) to Roma plus wages worth €4m per season (£2.8m).

The midfielder is already in negotiations with Roma to extend his contract, improving the current €1.8m per season salary to €2.5m plus performance-related bonuses.

However, Nainggolan is still co-owned by Cagliari, so the Sardinians would get €20m out of the deal.
