Manchester City are working on a deadline day deal for Manchester City striker Radamel Falcao. The Mirror says City could pull off a stunning transfer deadline day deal for Monaco's £50million-rated striker Falcao.
Champions City's hopes of landing the Colombia striker rest on whether they can agree a deal with Valencia to striker Alvaro Negredo back to Spain after just one season at the Etihad Stadium.
Valencia want Negredo - who is currently injured - but it is understood the Spanish club want to take the striker on loan, with an option to buy the £18m-rated player at the end of that agreement.
City need to sell Negredo to fund any move for Falcao, as they remain under strict spending restrictions this summer having fallen foul of UEFA's Financial Fair Play rules.
