REVEALED: Guendouzi 'brushed aside' Luiz advice as Arsenal exit looms

Matteo Guendouzi has reportedly snubbed Arsenal teammate David Luiz and his pleas for the Frenchman to show more 'professionalism'.

The 21-year-old has not trained with the first-team after arguing with manager Mikel Arteta about his fight with Neal Maupay in the loss to Brighton last month.

After not being sanctioned by the FA, Guendouzi faced Arteta's wrath by being excluded from the past four games, as well as training.

But rather than apologise for his actions, the Frenchman has doubled down and now sees his future away from the Emirates.

And France Football says a chat from teammate Luiz has failed to convince Guendouzi to change his mind.

The veteran defender told Guendouzi to show more professionalism and win his place back in the side, but was 'brushed aside' by the former Lorient man.

The Gunners will seek £30million for Guendouzi this summer, with Inter Milan and Barcelona among the interested clubs.
