REVEALED: Barcelona have trump card to beat Real Madrid to Pogba signing

Barcelona are ready to join the battle for Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba.

While they're banned from both transfer windows this year, Barca are still drawing up plans to strengthen their squad - with Pogba high on their long-term shopping list.

El Mundo Deportivo says with former AC Milan chief Ariedo Braida about to be named new Barca sporting director, a switch in transfer targets will come with the appointment.

Braida is close to Italian super agent Mino Raiola, who could become a close adviser to Barca, as Jorge Mendes has in the past with Real Madrid.

Among Raiola's clients is Pogba, who has been linked with a €100 million move to Real Madrid this month.

Also on the Italian's books are Everton striker Romelu Lukaku and Borussia Dortmund midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
