Liverpool are closing on a deal for Sampdoria goalkeeper Sergio Romero.
TMW says Liverpool are set to sign Romero as their new first choice goalkeeper.
The Sampdoria stopper is set to be the man to replace Simon Mignolet, who is continually being criticised by fans and pundits alike for his poor performances.
Romero featured for Argentina in the World Cup, inspiring them to the final, where they lost in extra-time to Germany.
He is represented by Mino Raiola, the man who orchestrated Mario Balotelli's move to Anfield in the summer.
