Recent reports that Liverpool are set to sell Alberto Aquilani after just one season are premature says his agent, Franco Zavaglia.
The 25-year old has endured a tough time at Anfield after crossing for big money from AS Roma last summer and there was speculation that he the Reds were set to sell him but Zavaglia has rubbished those claims, saying the Anfield club will hang onto him.
"A return to Italy? It seems as though the stories are being made up by journalists in the British tabloids," he told Tuttomercatoweb.com. "I don't know anything because Alberto is happy in Liverpool.
"There is talk of Juventus and Fiorentina but the Bianconeri have yet to define the structure of the club before thinking about the market. Equally, Fiorentina has the issue of Cesare Prandelli to resolve.
"Aquilani has recovered well from his ankle injury and for this reason I think Liverpool won't want to sell him."
