French club Rennes are believed to be monitoring the contract situation of Celtic midfielder Victor Wanyama.
The 20-year old Kenyan had a superb debut season with the Scottish champions who are keen to tie him up to a lucrative long-term deal.
But Rennes boss Frederic Antonetti is eyeing Wanyama, who is a target for some English clubs, as a possible replacement for Yann M'Vila according to SunSport.
France international M'Vila is being linked with Arsenal, Barcelona and a host of other clubs in Europe and Rennes could cash-in if they sold him this summer.
